Michael Dunn is a national member of the Canadian Chefs Federation and has received numerous awards, such as The Queen's Silver Jubilee Medal, the Order of The Rio Branco (Brazil), the Order of The White Rose (Finland) and the Distinctive Service Medal of The Federal Republic of Germany.

Francine & Michael Dunn (former Chef to Her Majesty the Queen & Princess Diana, decided to relocate to Brockville, where they set up a catering business and a bed and breakfast. Dunn with Flair Enterprises encompasses the couple’s catering company and the Pine Street Inn Bed and Breakfast.
Michael Dunn's favourite dish to cook is salmon kubiak, originally a Russian dish that used Sturgeon. The recipes were initially given to Queen Victoria’s chefs to use when the czar visited and was adapted for salmon since they were more abundant.
